CPT Symposium Draws Record Crowds
More than 600 people from 41 states came to Chicago last month for the fifth annual AMA CPT Coding Symposium, the largest number of attendees to date, to learn about CPT changes for 1997 directly from the AMA. Health information management professionals from all office settings heard from the physicians and other advisors who are part of the CPT revision, addition, and deletion process, learning the specific coding changes and their accompanying rationale.
