Reporting Somatic Nerve Injections
For the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) 2021 code set, codes 64455, 64479, 64480, 64483, and 64484 were converted to child codes of code 64400 to be consistent with the existing code structures in this family. This change provides standardization of the code descriptors and clarifies reporting of plantar common digital nerve(s) and transforaminal epidural injections.
