The following coding clarifications are provided as a result of the
Relative Value Update Committee's (RUC) Five-Year Review Identification Workgroup
process based on the identification of these codes through a high volume growth screen
by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the RUC. The increased
reporting suggested that there may be issues with reporting the code appropriately. The
