Question
Since there is no specific code available for laparoscopic incisional hernia repair, we are using the unlisted code 49659. My question is whether code 49568 can be used in addition to code 49659 to report the implantation of mesh?

It would not be appropriate to report code 49568, Implantation of mesh or other prosthesis for incisional or ventral hernia repair (List separately in addition to code for the incisional or ventral hernia repair)...
