This patient was discharged from our facility with a feeding tube following a prolonged hospitalization. However, the patient's feeding tube did not appear to be infusing properly and multiple attempts by the patient's mother to unclog the tube were unsuccessful. It was also noted that the patient began to experience tremors and shakiness. Her blood sugar was checked and found to be at 40. She was readmitted to the hospital for treatment of the clogged gastrojejunostomy tube and hypoglycemia. The tube was flushed and repositioned. However, difficulties arose after feedings were restarted and a kink was noted in the tube and erythema at the skin site. The gastrojejunostomy tube was removed and replaced with a jejunostomy feeding tube. What are the appropriate code assignments for this admission? ...
