Signing In

Question:  How do I Sign into FindACode.com?

Answer:  Go to findacode.com and click on the "Sign Up" link in the purple menu bar at the top of the page.  A "Sign In" are will drop down below the heading area.  Enter the email address and password you submitted during signup to sign in to your Find-A-Code Account.


Subscribing to FindACode.com

Question:  How do I subscribe to FindACode.com?

Answer:  Go to our Subscribe page, select the Find-A-Code features you would like to have as part of your account.  Enter the number of people/users who will be using the account and choose between the Annual payment or Monthly payments.  Fill in your credit card billing information and agree to the terms of service - and you are done!


Question:  Do you charge monthly or annually?

Answer:  You may subscribe to FindACode.com to be billed monthly or annually.  Find-A-Code offers a 7% discount for annual payments as well as mutliple-user discounts.  The more people who use Find-A-Code the less you pay (per person ;-)  Review our Subscribe page for more details and actual pricing.


Question:  Can people share a subscription?

Answer:  Each person who will be using the FindACode.com system needs to have their own subscription.  Additional users can be added at any time.  Additional users will receive a volume discount.


Question:  How do I add more subscribers to my Account?

Answer:  You or the subscriber who is marked as an "Account Admin" will see a list of subscribers in your account on the "My Account" page on the "Account Setup" tab.  At the bottom of the list is a button that says "Add Another User".  Click this button to enter the information for the new subscriber. 


Question:  Is there a limit to how many extra subscribers we can have on one Account?

Answer:  There is no limit to how many additional subscribers can be added to an Account.  However, the billing and payment informaton is only billed and recorded on the Account level (we do not do separate billing for individual subscribers).  Individuals or groups of subscribers that need separate billing need to create separate Accounts (through the normal subscribe process).


Question:  If my Account has multiple subscribers will they all be billed together (at the same time)?

Answer:  Yes, all subscriptions in your Account will be billed on the same day and on the same bill/invoice/charge.


Question:  How will I be billed if I add a subscriber in between my billing periods?

Answer:  The new subscriber will be billed pro-rated for the time remaining until the next billing period.


Question:  Do you offer a money-back guarantee or refunds?

Answer:  FindACode.com gives you up to the first 30 days of service as a free "get to know us" period.  During this period you can cancel your Account at any time and you will receive a full refund.  Subscriptions must be canceled prior to the next billing date to avoid being billed for the next month.


Computer Compatibility

Question:  What browser can I use to access FindACode.com?

Answer:  Latest Versions of FireFox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Safari have been tested. Most older versions work well also.


Question:  What kind of Computer can I use?

Answer: Microsoft Windows (Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98, 95), Linux (Red Hat, Suse, Ubuntu, etc), Mac, etc. Any OS that has a connection to the internet and a browser.

Also Any web enabled device will work (iPhone, Android, iPad, iPod Touch, etc.)



Question: FindACode isn't displaying correctly / I'm having issues Signing in.

Answer:  Try clearing your cache and cookies (ctrl-shift-delete, check all the boxes, hit ok) and log in again. If you still have problems, send us an email at support@findacode.com.


Mobile Device Compatibility

Question:  Can I use my mobile device/phone with FindACode.com (ie iPhone on web to access FindAcode.com).

Answer:  Any fully web enabled device should work.  We have tested the iPhone and Android and it works great! Others have not yet been tested.


Code Specific Questions

Question:  Do you link up manufacturer parts with codes?

Answer:  No, just as a single insurance company can have hundreds of different plans with different rules for each plan, the same is true for medical supplies. We highly recommend that you work with your manufacturer to determine which code would be the appropriate code to use when billing for their supply and/or part. Please keep in mind that both manufacturer parts and HIPAA code sets change frequently.
