Steroid injection for Dupuytren's contracture
Patient presents for treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture of the left hand and sesamoid arthritis. The pretendinous cords over the third and fourth metacarpals of the palm area were injected with 1% lidocaine and 10 mg of Kenalog. CPT code 20527, Injection, enzyme (e.g., collagenase), palmar fascial cord (i.e., Dupuytren’s contracture), does not seem to be the correct code as it is for an injection of an enzyme.
