Abdominoplasty and Abdominal Wall Plication for Hernia Repair
The patient presented with a ventral hernia and underwent abdominoplasty and abdominal wall plication. At surgery, the horizontal component was cut through deep dermal layers and subcutaneous fat from the anterior superior iliac spine (ASIS). The specimen was then removed.
