Al-Ghorab Distal Penile Shunt Surgery
The patient was admitted to the hospital because of persistent priapism lasting three days, and underwent Al-Ghorab distal penile shunt surgery. Per the ICD-10-PCS Alphabetic Index, shunt procedures are coded to the root operation “Bypass.” However, ICD-10-PCS does not provide a specific code for this type of shunt procedure.
