A 45-year-old patient with diabetes mellitus and arterial occlusive disease underwent excisional debridement due to severe infection of the right heel. Necrotic skin, subcutaneous fat and fascia were excised from the deep necrotic ulcer including periosteal tissue of the calcaneus. Is periosteum coded to the “bone” body part, subcutaneous tissue and fascia or bursa/ligament?
