Laparoscopic Pyloromyotomy
The patient is a 32-year-old female diagnosed with pyloric stenosis and laparoscopic pyloromyotomy was performed. During surgery, the stenosis was confirmed. The surgeon made an anterior incision in the pylorus. The muscle ring was spread with the pyloric spreader. The pylorus was tested by insufflation with air to assess for perforation, which was not found. What is the appropriate root operation for this surgery, Division or Dilation?
