Question: Are anesthesia preoperative chart-reviews for patients undergoing surgery at least 3 days prior and 3 days later billable?
Answer: Chart evaluation would not be separately reported as it is considered an integral component of the preoperative and postoperative service, as well as to the provision of anesthesia.
