Question: Is it appropriate to separately report cardiac catheterization with aortogram performed after transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVR), if the surgeon is concerned with the seating of the aortic valve?
Answer: No. Angiography utilized for guidance in TAVR procedures codes is included in the code for the procedure (33361-33366).
