Ankle Fusion, Osteotomy, and Removal of Hardware

A 61-year-old male is six years status post repair of left ankle fracture. He had failure of the top screws and eventually developed a varus deformity with arthritis. He presents for surgical intervention. The patient underwent removal of retained hardware of the left ankle, left fibular osteotomy, and left ankle fusion. The surgeon’s documentation indicates that the previous incision was opened and the retained hardware was removed. An incision was then made over the distal fibula where an osteotomy of the fibula with removal of the distal fibula was performed. The ankle joint was opened and the decision was made to use pieces of the fibula as a medial graft. Screws were also placed. What are the correct ICD-10-PCS codes for these procedures? ...
