Thirteen new codes have been created in Chapter 5, Behavioral and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (F01-F99), for a variety of conditions to more closely align with the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5®), the criteria used by mental health providers to diagnose mental disorders.
