Changes in the reporting status for several HCPCS codes

for several HCPCS codes HCPCS code G0377, Administration of vaccine for Part D drug, is no longer reportable by hospitals under the OPPS, as this service is covered under the Part D benefit as of January 1, 2008. This change was implemented in the April 2008 I/OCE. In addition, as of January 1, 2008, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs) are no longer reported with HCPCS codes G0297, Insertion of single chamber pacing cardioverter defibrillator pulse generator, G0298, Insertion of dual chamber pacing cardioverter defibrillator pulse generator, G0299, Insertion or repositioning of electrode lead for single chamber pacing cardioverter defibrillator and...
