Correction of hallux rigidus

Patient with hallux rigidus presents for correction of the right metatarsophalangeal joint (MPJ) with hemi-implant insertion. Deep incision was made exposing the metatarsal head and base of the proximal phalanx which were resected. A bone rongeur was utilized to remove any osteophytes and smooth rough surfaces. A guide hole was created for the hemi-implant to fit well into the MPJ. Since documentation does not support hallux valgus/ bunion correction being performed, what would be the correct code for this procedure? Also, does the diagnosis of hallux rigidus or hallux limitus impact code selection? ...
