Cryoablation of the suprascapular nerve

Patient presents to have cryoablation of the suprascapular nerve. A 16-gauge cryoablation probe was placed through an outer cannula and was utilized to stimulate the area of the scapula, which produced paresthesia. Several cryoablation lesions were created followed by thaw time. The probe was removed from the outer cannula and aspiration was negative. Bupivacaine was injected and the procedure was complete.
