OPPS FINAL RULE The following information was posted in the November 27, 2007, Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) final rule at www.cms.gov. Drug administration For CY 2008, CMS did not make any changes to the payment of drug administration services. However, CMS is continuing to ask hospitals to report all CPT drug administration codes and expects hospitals to report CPT codes consistent with CPT coding guidelines and applicable instructions.
