An 18-year-old male with newly diagnosed soft tissue Ewing’s sarcoma of the left lower distal extremity was admitted for his first cycle of chemotherapy. The provider documented that the MRI of the left lower extremity revealed a soft tissue mass adjacent to, but not invading the posterior medial aspect of the left distal tibia. The mass is adjacent to, but not involving the tibialis anterior and posterior artery and the flexor tendons. Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy revealed no metastatic involvement.
