A 36-year-old male with a chronic non-healing stump of the left upper extremity underwent irrigation and debridement with exchange of intramedullary antibiotic-impregnated spacer of the stump. The existing wound was opened, the drain was removed, and the wound was irrigated with antibiotic fluid. The antibiotic spacer in the humeral canal was removed. A new antibiotic impregnated spacer was manufactured using cement, vancomycin powder and tobramycin powder, and a pin, and the spacer was placed into the humeral canal.
