Excision of cyst and osteophytes, right index finger

A patient with a cyst on the radial border of the right index finger presented for excision of the cyst. A T-shaped incision was made over the distal phalanx and skin flaps were elevated. The cyst was exposed and removed. Another incision was made laterally to the extensor tendon and the distal interphalangeal (DIP) joint was entered. Osteophytes present were debrided with curettes and rongeurs and thus removed. Would it be appropriate to report both the removal of the cyst and the osteophytes? On the other hand, since the osteophytes are in the deeper layer would their removal only be reported? What are the correct codes for the procedures performed? ...
