Lactation Problems in Adoptive Mothers

There is a growing trend of adoptive mothers undergoing induced lactation to breastfeed their adopted infant. What code should be assigned if the mother develops lactation issues (e.g., mastitis, retracted nipple, etc.)? Since the mother is not technically post-partum, neither category 675, Infections of breast and nipple associated with childbirth, nor category 676, Other disorders of the breast associated with childbirth and disorders of lactation, seem appropriate.
