Laser Lithotripsy with Removal of Fragments
A patient with right proximal ureteral calculi is admitted to undergo a laser lithotripsy. A rigid ureteroscope was negotiated up the right ureter to the stone. Using the Holmium laser, the stone was fragmented into multiple pieces, all of which were individually basketed. The ureteroscope was removed and the patient was taken to the recovery room in stable condition. How should this procedure be coded in ICD-10-PCS?
