AHA Coding Clinic® for HCPCS - 2019 Issue 1; For Your Information

New HCPCS codes and dosage descriptors for certain drugs, biologicals and radiopharmaceuticals effective January 1, 2019

CMS created several new HCPCS codes for the reporting of drugs and biologicals in the hospital outpatient setting where there have not previously been specific HCPCS codes available. These new HCPCS codes will be added to the list of HCPCS codes utilized for the reporting of certain drugs and biologicals. These new HCPCS codes effective for CY 2019 are listed in the table below.
