Effective October 1, 2007, the title of category 200, Lymphosarcoma and reticulosarcoma, has been revised to read “Lymphosarcoma and reticulosarcoma and other specified malignant tumors of lymphatic tissue.” In addition, category 200 has been expanded to allow for a more current classification of lymphomas based on specific designations of behavior. Category 200 requires a fifth digit to indicate the specific site(s) involved.
