Based on the instructional notes under I21.A9, it appears that codes I21.A9, Other myocardial infarction type, T82.897A, Other specified complication of cardiac prosthetic devices, implants and grafts, initial encounter, and I97.89, Other post procedural complications and disorders of circulatory system, not elsewhere classified, should all be assigned. Code I97.190, Other postprocedural cardiac functional disturbances following cardiac surgery, also seems appropriate.
