A patient with chronic osteomyelitis of the cervical spine presents for the first stage of a two-stage procedure for graft placement to interrupt the track between the osteomyelitis and the external skin. In this first stage, a radial forearm free flap graft is prelaminated by making an incision and placing AlloDerm™ on the soft tissue of the left forearm and covering it with silastic sheeting.
