Public input on requests to discontinue certain HCPCS Level II codes

Recently, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced plans to initiate a limited demonstration for a web-based notice and comment mechanism, which will allow public input on requests to discontinue HCPCS Level II codes that are generated based on national program operating needs. These HCPCS Level II codes would not be identified in other notices or comment mechanisms and would not be replaced by other or new codes.
