3 D Rendering with CT Imaging

Our facility wants clarification regarding reporting 3D rendering services with CT imaging. In the current CPT codebook there are parenthetical notes following codes 70450 (CT head or brain) and 70486 (CT maxillofacial area) which state, “To report 3D rendering, see 76376, 76377.” However, with code 72125 (CT cervical spine), there are no parenthetical notes regarding 3D rendering reporting. There are also parenthetical notes following codes 76376 and 76377 which list all of the codes not to be reported in conjunction with the 3D rendering services and code 72125 is not in the list. Should CPT code 76377 be reported only once if multiple base codes (anatomical areas) are imaged or would it be reported once for each base code (anatomical area) imaged? Would it be appropriate to report CPT code 76377 with 72125? ...
