Sagittal split vs. segmental osteotomy

A patient with mandibular hypoplasia and Angle’s class II malocclusion presented for a bilateral sagittal split osteotomy and genioplasty with genial tubercle advancement. Medial ramus, ascending ramus and inferior border osteotomies were performed and an osteotome at the inferior border was utilized to complete the sagittal split bilaterally followed by fixation. Attention was then turned to the chin were a midline osteotomy with fixation was completed for the genioglossal advancement. Is it possible to report both CPT codes 21196 and 21199 to capture a sagittal split with genioglossus advancement? ...
