Thoracic Outlet Decompression with Sympathectomy

A patient presented with thoracic outlet syndrome with a component of sympathetic dystrophic pain and vasomotor changes. Surgical intervention included thoracic outlet decompression and sympathectomy. After completing the release of the brachial plexus for the thoracic outlet decompression, the sympathetic nerve chain was circumscribed with a clamp and the sympathectomy was performed at the T2-T3 levels.
