Influenza also known as the flu, is a contagious respiratory illness which is caused by influenza viruses and can cause mild to severe illness. Some symptoms of the virus include fever, chills, general malaise, body aches, headaches, cough, and sore throat.  Influenza is contagious and can be transmitted in a variety of ways such as: Hand-to-eye, hand-to-nose, or hand-to-mouth, either from contaminated surfaces or from direct personal contact, such as a hand-shake, Direct transmission (i.e., when an infected person sneezes directly into the eyes, nose or mouth of another person), or Airborne route (i.e., coughing, sneezing...
