In code table 06L, Lower Veins, Occlusion, for the body part value 2 Gastric Vein, the following transorifice approach values were added: 7 Via Natural or Artificial Opening and 8 Via Natural or Artificial Opening Endoscopic. This change enables accurate coding for transorifice and transorifice endoscopic procedures where occlusion of the gastric vein is performed.
