April 2018 pages 7-8 New Diagnostic Radiology Codes for 2018 A number of code revisions were made to the Diagnostic Radiology section of the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) 2018 code set. Nine codes, which were used to report view-specific chest X rays, were deleted and replaced by four new codes (71045, 71046, 71047, 71048) that describe the total number of views obtained.
