Staged Laparoscopic Gastric Conduit and Placement of Feeding Tube
A patient was admitted for a staged laparoscopic gastric conduit for treatment of esophageal cancer and placement of a feeding tube into the jejunum. During the first stage of the procedure, the left gastric arteries were transected, next the jejunum was attached to the abdominal wall using endostitch and tie knot. A needle was placed into the jejunum and the jejunostomy tube was placed with Seldinger technique. Further sutures were used to reinforce the jejunum to the abdominal wall.
