A patient with tears of the left anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), medial and lateral menisci presented for repair. Through an arthroscopic approach, the lateral meniscus was repaired; the meniscus was trephined and a single all inside meniscal repair device was placed. The medial meniscus had a complex tear; biters and shavers were used to resect the diseased meniscal tissue. Then the ACL remnant was resected with a shaver and ablator. Through an incision, cinch stitches were utilized to sink the allograft into the femoral tunnel, the tibial tunnel was then broached and a sheath and screw were placed. The repair was stable. When the medial meniscus is excised and the lateral meniscus is repaired, are codes for both procedures reported since the repairs were in different compartments of the same knee? ...
