If a radiologist reviews films previously taken at the facility or films obtained from another facility in order to provide an interpretation for a current X ray, can a separate code be reported for doing the comparison of a previous X ray to a current X ray? This radiologist is not performing an X-ray consult (ie, 76140). The previous films are reviewed for comparative purposes only in order to diagnose any change in the patient's condition.
