2013 coders’ salary survey: Find out how pain coders came out ahead of their peers

Some good news for pain management coders: Your average salary in 2012 was $13,000 higher than your peers’ in other specialties. Pain management coders earned an average of $64,843, whereas coders across all specialties earned an average salary of $51,083, according to the 2013 Physician Coders’ Salary Survey.
