Q&A: New Cat III code 0737T likely not appropriate for BEAR implant reporting

Question: I am wondering if you have any experience with coding bridge-enhanced ACL restoration (BEAR)? We are reporting the arthroscopic ACL repair with CPT code 29888 as the main procedure code, but my authorization team is asking if there is a code for the implant itself. Do you know if there is any HCPCS or CPT code for the BEAR implant? The patient is asking for an approximate cost of the implant.
