This assay detects nucleic acid sequences from Coronavirus subtypes 229E, HKU1, OC43, and NL63 RNA in nasopharyngeal swabs using PCR and non-probe detection methods, such as melt curve analysis. A single Coronavirus result is reported when any of the four Coronavirus subtypes are detected.
