Mitral Valve Repair and Chordae Tendineae Transfer

A patient was found to have severe mitral regurgitation and subsequently underwent a radical repair of mitral valve with quadrangular resection of the P2 scallop (posterior leaflet) with chordal transfers to the A2 scallop (anterior leaflet). During the procedure, a prolapse of the junction of P2 P3 scallops and some redundancy of the anterior leaflet was found. A quadrangular resection of the posterior leaflet was performed. The resected portion of the posterior leaflet was trimmed and the chords transferred to the anterior leaflet. Is a separate code reported for the chordae tendineae transfer when performed along with a quadrangular resection of the posterior leaflet? ...
