Notable changes have been made in the Allergy Services section of the CPT 2013 code set. New and revised guidelines and parentheticals were created, four codes were added, and three codes were deleted. Also, a new subsection, Ingestion Challenge Testing, was added to the Allergy and Clinical Immunology section. This article offers a review of these changes.
