ARR results above 130 pmol/ng indicate primary aldosteronism. ARR results between 100 - 130 pmol/ng are indeterminate and suggest a need for repeat testing.[PMID: 21912488] The ARR can also be determined by dividing the mass concentration of aldosterone by the renin activity in blood plasma [LOINC: 55151-5].[PMID: 15483077] | ||||||
