descriptionThis assay represents the fraction of T-cell receptor beta chain variable gene segments that are in the TRBV27 gene family out of the total number of TRBV gene segments identified ("diversity ratio"). At the time this term was created, the TRBV27 segment did not contain any subtypes. Because some portion of TRBV gene segments that are counted in the total will not correspond to any of the probes and therefore will not be identified as belonging to a specific TRBV gene family, the total of the diversity ratios reported will not equal 100%.
