Breast reconstruction with removal of tissue explander
Patient with history of breast cancer had a right breast mastectomy and tissue expander reconstruction. She now presents for revision and implant placement. The previous scar was opened, skin flaps were elevated and the pectoralis muscles were also opened. The breast expander was deflated and removed and a capsulotomy performed. In order for the implant to be moved medially, a Ryan flap was performed. The sizer was placed and after adjustments sutured into place. What are the correct codes for the breast reconstruction which includes tissue expander removal, placement of the silicone implant and revision with Ryan flap?
