Correct Reporting of Biologicals Used as Implantable Devices

Hospitals should report the appropriate HCPCS code for the product when products are utilized as either a surgically implanted or inserted biological or as a skin substitute. Units of service should be reported in multiples of the units included in the HCPCS code descriptor.
