Suction Assisted Lipectomy of Breast

We are getting conflicting information regarding the coding and reporting of a suction assisted lipectomy (SAL) of the breast with a breast reduction. At our facility, we have always considered a suction assisted lipectomy (SAL) of the breast area to be included in CPT code 19318, Reduction mammaplasty, and not separately reported. Recently, we were instructed that the SAL could be separately reported. Can you clarify whether this information is correct and whether the breast reduction includes the lateral breast tissue (up to and including the axillary tail of the breast into the axilla)? ...
