Continent Ileovesicostomy
A patient with hypotonic, neurogenic bladder and urethral stricture was admitted to undergo a closed continent ileovesicostomy along with biopsies of the small intestine and bladder. During this procedure, a segment of the ileum was isolated, side-to-side anastomosis of the intestine was carried out and ureteral catheterization was performed.
