Endoscopy with Suctioning of Blood

A patient was admitted with hematemesis and melena. An esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD) was performed to determine the cause of the bleed. Upon intubation, old blood clots were seen throughout the esophagus along with esophagitis and ulcerations in the distal esophagus. More old blood clots were found in the stomach and duodenum but no evidence of ulcers or concerning lesions. The old blood clots were suctioned from the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum, and the scope was removed. Should the root operation Inspection be assigned?
